Geography of Maghull

Maghull lies 13 km. north of Liverpool and 8 km from the west coast.

The area is agricultural with a long history of root vegetable growing. The soil is sandy and well drained, forming a 50 km. wide  plain  between the sea and the western edge of the Pennine hills.

Maghull sits close to the junction of  the M57 and M58 motorways, allowing fast access to the M6 and M62 and all points N, E and W.
